Liberal traditions
Some random thoughts.
This is a great country because of our liberal traditions - open heart, generosity, looking after each other.
Marshall Will Kane (Gary Cooper) in "High Noon" was a liberal.
Lincoln was a liberal.
Jefferson was a liberal.
Neo-Conservatives have finally managed to throw the rider off the horse, and now it's galloping through the wilderness.
The greatest liberal tradition is open-mindedness to consider all possibilities - look at every side of an issue, evaluate, and then act on the best.
