The Price Of Coffee

For years, the cost of a cup of coffee at work was 5 cents, and you got what you paid for. I drank it only when I was desperate.

A few months ago, they started getting better coffee, then raised the price to 20 cents.

Last week, the head of manufacturing, who for some reason is the only one qualified to fix the coffee machine, had it opened, and there were nickels all over the place. I thought he was collecting the coins, but he said, no, it's all jammed up.

I laughed and said, "Yeah, you raised the price from a nickel to four nickels, and it fills up too fast."

Coffee now costs a quarter.
