Sea Change Due in Military Party Registrations?

With the Republicans now habitually tearing down the character and medals of combat veterans, and with the "preponderance of the Iraq war veterans who thus far have decided to run for office ...doing so as Democrats" will there be an inversion in party affiliation? 

 

Will our citizens in service realize that the Republicans don't have their best interests at heart after all?
